Little Fish Makers Market

November 2nd in Anchorage, Alaska

Saturday from 11am-4pm

This will be my second time as a vendor at this esteemed annual event. Curated by the talented visionary Risha, of Little Fish Workshop, this event is filled with the best of the best of handpicked Alaskan artisans! It wasn’t that long ago that I DREAMED of selling my art alongside so many other talented makers at this market. It’s a “pinch-me” dream come true to be invited back to sell my art here once again. I cannot wait to share the collection of beautifully framed originals, giclee prints, greeting cards, velveteen pillows and plush throw blankets featuring my art that I have in the works for shoppers to peruse at this highly anticipated upcoming event.

Bad Girls of the North

December 14th in Palmer, Alaska

Saturday from 10am-5pm

I’m so excited to be invited back to sell my artwork at the gorgeous venue of Hamilton Farms where John and Stacey DePriest transform a true working farm’s barn into a beautifully lit winter wonderland for the joy of holiday shoppers. Coinciding with Palmer’s annual Colony Christmas events, be sure to add a stop at Hamilton Farms to warm up with an adult beverage and shop local to your hearts content. My last event of 2024 and I love that I get to go out with a bang, as this will also be the DePriest’s farewell show! Come to wish them well on their future endeavors and stay to support amazing Alaskan makers!

Cordova Historical Museum

Cordova, Alaska

My first solo exhibition and it was in my hometown’s gorgeous museum! This was an absolute full circle event for me as not only is Cordova where I was born and raised and where I fell in love with the beauty of nature, but it is also where I was first introduced to fiber as an artistic medium. After taking an introductory needle felting class with Dotty Widman at her magical shop, The Net Loft, I was hooked on trying to create what I saw with intensely saturated colors of dyed wool fibers.

This monthlong exhibit featured my original felted paintings showcasing summer land and sea life views with loving attention to my hometown’s stunning plants and wildlife. This collection was essentially my love letter in wool sharing my deep admiration of Cordova’s exquisite natural beauty during our short, but ever so sweet, Alaskan summers.
